The Embassy of the State of Qatar participated in the National Multicultural Festival 2020, which held every year in Canberra. The Embassy had a stall at the Festival with the aim of introducing visitors to the Qatari identity, heritage, social customs, Qatar's cultural, sports and humanitarian achievements. Visitors had the chance to try on some traditional Qatari cloths, taste Arabic coffee and some traditional Qatari sweets. The Embassy provided visitors with some information on the next World Cup 2020 held in Qatar. Moreover, the Embassy organised some activities for the visitors. Qatar Airways participated in the Embassy stall as well. A number of ministers and ambassadors visited the Embassy stall.
