H.E. Ambassador Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Non- Resident Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Fiji, met H.E. François Martel, Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Development Forum, in the Capital Suva, on the margin of the 1st High Level Pacific Blue Economy Conference, 23-24 August 2017. During the meeting, both sides discussed issues of mutual interest and ways of strengthening relations, as H.E.Ambassador Khalifa informed the Secretary-General of the Pacific Islands Development Forum of the State of Qatar’s support of A$25,000 to the 1st High Level Pacific Blue Economy Conference.
