His Excellency Mr. Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the State of Qatar received at the Chancery, His Excellency Mr. Yogsh Bonga, High Commissioner of the Republic of Fiji to Australia. The meeting discussed the avenues for supporting and strengthening cooperative relations between the two friendly countries in all fields, in particular the renewable energy. In this regard, Ambassador Al Khalifa presented the High Commissioner Qatar’s financial support to Fiji’s Presidency of COP23 (twenty-third Conference of parties to the Paris agreement), valued $50.000 The meeting was attended by Mr Abdulaziz bin Saad Al-kawari, Second Secretary of the Embassy, Mr Fahd Rouge, Second Secretary at the Embassy.
