Qatar Ambassador delivers Qatar’s prospective in New Zealand
His Excellency
Ambassador Nasser Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Ambassador of the State of Qatar
(non-resident) to New Zealand, delivered a public lecture titled 'The Gulf
Tinderbox: A View from Qatar’ which was hosted by The New Zealand Institute of
International Affairs and with collaboration with the University of Victoria in
Wellington.
Ambassador Al Khalifa shared his perspective on Gulf
Crisis, noting the Government of Qatar’s actions to overcome its consequences,
including those concerned to guide the economic development, self-reliance and
promote national investments. The lecture followed by an interactive session
chaired by Sir Douglas Kidd, President of NZIIA.
