Qatar's Ambassador of Australia, HE Nasser Bin Hamad Al khalifa held series of meetings in Melbourne, Victoria to promote commercial, media and cultural ties between the State of Qatar and State of Victoria. The Ambassador met with Alex Lavelle, chief editor of the Age main news agency in Melbourne and discussed ways for joint cooperation. Later Ambassador met with Mr. Tom Harley, the director general of dragoman consultancy and discussed joint cooperation. Ambassador also discussed with Mr. Ali Fahour, Director general of The Islamic Museum of Australia cooperation and exchange of cultural experiences with State of Qatar. On Tuesday evening The Ambassador met with HE Dr. Hamad Bin Alawi Consul general of Oman, during the reception which was hosted by the Omani consul on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the national day of Sultanate of Oman .
