His Exelency Mr. Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Australia received Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Chariman of Qatar Airways, the accompanying delegation and HE Mr. Axel Wabenhorst, Australian Ambassador to Qatar upon their arrival on-board of the first direct flight from Doha to Canberra this morning.  Among the receiving officials were Mr. Steven Ciobo, Federal Minister of Trade Tourism and Investment, Mr. Andrew Barr, ACT Chief Minister, Mr. Brendan Smyth, ACT Commissioner for International Engagement, Mr. Terry Snow, Executive Chairman of Canberra Airport, Mr. Stephen Byron, Managing Director of Canberra Airport and Mr. Noel McCann, Director of Planning and Government Relations of Canberra Airport.
