A press conference held in Canberra for the inauguration of Qatar Airways to the first ever-direct flight from Doha to Canberra. Participated in the conference, His Excellency Mr Akbar Al Baker, Group Chief Executive of Qatar Airways, Mr. Andrew Barr ACT Chief Minister and Mr. Stephen Byron, Executive Director of the Canberra Airport. In attendance of the press conference was His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Australia, the Diplomatic members of the Embassy of Qatar and representatives of the Australian media.
