His Excellency Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Australia met with Mr Mathew Neuhaus, Acting First Assistant Secretary, Middle East and Africa Division , The two sides discussed issues of mutual interest and the cooperation between the State of Qatar and Australia.

HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met today with Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop.The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them, especially in promoting economic and investment cooperation and increasing trade exchange between the two countries.

Chief of Protocol at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Lyndall Sachs received a copy of the credentials of HE Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa as Qatar's ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Australia. Sachs wished HE the ambassador success in his job and hoped for more development and growth to bilateral relations.
